The man named Champak (Irrfan Khan), a single parent of Tarika (Radhika Madan), is based in Udaipur. His brother is Gopi (Deepak Dobriyal) and although they both have lots of love for each other, they are involved in legal battles. Both of them run the Ghasiteram Sweets store and both claim to be the original store for generations.
The problem of reaching a court where Judge Chheda (Zakir Hussain) gave a ruling in favor of Gopi. In a drunken state, Gopi revealed he was bribing a judge who was the reason he won the case. Gajju (Kiku Sharda) a friend of the brothers, recorded the statement.
In the meantime Tarika was an ordinary student and wanted to win a scholarship offered by his school which would take him to London. He worked hard to find 85% and it made him eligible for a scholarship to England.
The ceremony was held for the event. The main guest is none other than Judge Chheda.
Champka angrily tells the crowd of evil activities from Chheda, not realizing Chheda is the principal's husband. The mad head of the school canceled a scholarship for Tarika. Champak promises Tarika whatever happens, he will complete his registration including in the college of his choice in London.
Tarika failed to get an entrance ticket from another quota. Gopi advises Champak to contact Bablu (Ranvir Shorey) their childhood friend who has settled in London. Bablu came to Udaipur with a plane ticket sponsored by Champak.
He explained to Champak he could help him find British citizenship and after that Tarika could be easily accepted. Champak, Tarika and Gopi reached the city in London. Gopi and Champak are mistaken as drug dealers. So they were deported to India while Tarika was stranded in London. What happens next becomes the core of the film.
