The nightmare starts a few days after Christmas, when the two half-brothers Ida (Moa Gammel) and Tuva (Madeleine Martin) decide to take a risk in a remote Norwegian fjord where they dive into ice waters.
For them, diving is more than just a sport, but it is part of their family history, something that connects Tuva to her mother without limits, leaving Ida who almost left her sister to drown as a child, cold in the cold.
Thus, this small adventure is an opportunity for them to share the passion that often pits them. testing their boundaries together, what the two sisters really wanted was to be close.
But their aquatic expedition quickly became a nightmare when a landslide left Tuva trapped underwater in the midst of darkness and also threatened watery depths.
At this point, it became a race against the time when Ida tried to be a hero to her sister, willing to do whatever was needed to not leave her sister drowning.
Hyperthermia and also the catastrophic consequences of countless shaking and also the rapid rise are constant risks that Ida must face, just as a constant lack of oxygen can threaten the survival of Tuva.
